My birthday gifts

They're in the photos below.  We all enjoyed a great day in New York and spent some time showing the boys Washington Square Park, an iconic location known for its triumphal arch celebrating our first president.  Oh and lots and lots of street performers and vagrants.

We're proud parents.  We're also happy with the fact they'll be back on the same bus next year and out the door at 7:05 every school morning!

What goes up, must come..... Well, you know.  See if you can tell what the song is.  He's retiring from soccer but sticking with the alto sax.  Very proud of him.

Scholarship concert

 

 

The boys got to officially play together for the first time this past Wednesday (along with the rest of the 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th/8th grade and high school bands).  They all joined in to conclude the scholarship concert with America the Beautiful.  It was really good.  The program bounced from song to song and band to band allowing each one to be showcased.  It was a fun show.  The photos below were taken by the missus and her not so good iPhone camera.
