Happy 9th Birthday Quinn (with bonus photos of Jack's graduation!)

What's 19 feet long, 7 1/2 feet wide and 10 feet high?  Why, a birthday present of course!  In honor of Quinn's 9th birthday, we went for "ridiculous" and did not disappoint the fans. Watching the contraption unfurl into its all-American (made in China) glory was almost too much for them to bear.  We look forward to years of backyard watersliding----- okay, hopefully 2 years with diligent care.  Quinn will have his gang over later this week to re-celebrate his birthday all over again.

Check out the video to watch Jack's nifty slide stunt.

In other news, Quinn received 5 A+ and 1 A- on his report card.  Jack graduated preschool and in a matter of weeks will be riding the school bus with his big brother which is just unbelievable to Mommy and Daddy.  Before that though, there will be a great summer to enjoy replete with a trip to the beach and much more.

The photos of the big ceremony are of only so-so quality because the event was standing room only.  Much to the entire crowd's amazement, Jack was quick to scream "Throw your hats! Throw your hats!" throughout the proceedings.  The cap found the first row of guests soon enough.  Every one thought Daddy was behind it but I really wasn't.  We have no idea where he picked that up.  The video shows Jack receiving his diploma and hugging his two teachers.

WARNING! NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART (Grandmas, this means you.)

All of the boys made their way to the Reptile Expo despite Jack's annoying all day attitude.  Thankfully, the answer to Quinn's daylong question -- "Will I be able to hold anything?" was a resounding yes!

"Look  Ma, no hands."

"Now that I'm okay with this, hurry up and take the picture!"
